Matt’s next documentary feature called “The Human Race Film” is following his fight in the Supreme Court against the National Australia Bank for the fraudulent forclosures of homes around the country. Norman in the spirit of his famous uncle is holding nothing back. He is also trying to raise much needed funds for the gear he had to sell to feed his family and keep them safe. For those who support Matt Norman’s ongoing stance against injustice and can help raise enough to get back his gear, you would be helping someone who has the drive to stand up for all of us in our last hour of need. I am very proud to launch the new look SALUTE webpage to celebrate the upcoming release of SALUTE “Worldwide”. A date is currently being worked out with our partners and we hope to bring news on that soon. The webpage has been designed to give everyone a chance to celebrate the achievements and sacrifices made by Peter Norman, Tommie Smith and John Carlos on the 16th of October 1968.

It’s also a place to show your support for the cause. The Cause is THE HUMAN RACE not the OLYMPIC ONE. We’re looking for fan photo’s of anyone who wants to share their photo of themselves doing what has famously been known as the “Black Power Salute”. Email us your photo to get in on our fan page wall. We’ll also be using this site to give away copies of the film, posters, t-shirts etc when they become available. The only way to win is to show support.

We hope you enjoy the new site and we look forward to it’s release in 2012. Thanks again to the many thousands of you who have stuck with us since it’s Australian release WAY BACK in 2008. We know the rest of the World will love the film as much as Aussies did.
